Regarded as one of the most romantic venues in the world, Mudbrick features hand-hewn stone buildings and lush lavender gardens overlooking the Auckland skyline. Only a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal on Waiheke Island, it is easy to get to compared to other venues on the island.
For the ceremony, you have both indoor and outdoor options which is very rare across the country. The main lodge on the top side of the property is the main spot for weddings at Mudbrick with views over the harbour. With any rain or heavy wind, the ceremony can be easily moved inside the courtyard section up at the Lodge.
For your photos, you can stay onsite as there is a huge number of different spots around the venue for gorgeous photos. The tuscan vibe and stunning gardens create the perfect backdrop for your photos.
For your reception, the main restaurant is transformed into your evening spot. A large bar, intimate dance floor and large seated area for dining and speeches - it really offers everything in one spot! It can host up to 126 seated guests in the main restaurant, though they also offer smaller rooms for intimate elopements.
