Tucked away in a remote bay on the eastern end of Waiheke Island, this premier estate offers a unique and highly sought-after "destination wedding" aesthetic. For the ceremony, couples can exchange vows right on the water's edge on a manicured beachfront lawn, using the sparkling ocean and neighbouring islands as a pristine natural backdrop. Alternatively, there is a gorgeous, intimate white Chapel as part of the grounds that seats around 64 people.

Receptions take place in a beautifully appointed, light-filled marquee or pavilion space designed to maximise the indoor-outdoor flow, allowing guests to drift effortlessly between the celebratory banquet tables and the sea breeze. The venue can comfortably host up to 120 seated guests for large-scale celebrations, but it also effortlessly scales down to accommodate intimate coastal elopements. Operating as a premium, full-service venue, the estate supplies its own award-winning, estate-grown wines alongside bespoke catering menus that showcase fresh, seasonal New Zealand produce.

Further down the beach lays a historic cottage where couples can stay the night and use for getting ready on the wedding day. It has multiple bedrooms so we accommodate large groups.

There are countless photoshoot opportunities around Man O’ War - the sandy beach, the lush gardens or you can enjoy a short car ride to some hill top lookout points for amazing sunset couple photos.
